As times and funding has changed, our provision has moved into pre-employment and prison delivery and this is now the main focus of our work. We have funding contracts with Swindon College and work very closely with Milton Keynes College on their OLASS contract. We deliver a variety of courses including warehousing & storage, fitness instructing, forklift truck training, CSCS, health and safety and employability.
We work in a number of prisons nationally delivering qualifications and training to offenders of all ages, backgrounds and convictions.
Founded in 2007 in Lichfield, Staffordshire, QTT is a leading provider of vocational training throughout the UK.The organisation is experienced in supporting the unemployed and helping individuals into employment with added value, sector specific qualifications. We work with local referral partners to offer fully-funded training, depending on eligibility, to provide opportunities to gain the skills needed by local employers.
We also work within various HMPs throughout the country, providing vocational training which is relevant and transferable following resettlement. Linked to this, we work closely with probation services to provide individuals with the help, support and training opportunities they might need.
With a dedicated team of experienced trainers and assessors, QTT can offer the most up to date, fully accredited training to suit your training and employment needs.
It is our aim to provide learners with the support and guidance they need to progress towards their own career and employment goals. We will achieve this by offering flexible, high quality training opportunities that are interesting, challenging and vocationally relevant.
“QTT are a significant provider of vocational courses for Achieve North West Connect and we have been working in partnership with them for a number of years now. Achieve North West Connect is a project which is co-financed by the National Offender Management Service and European Social Fund to improve the employability prospects of ex-offenders.
QTT are a pleasure to work with. They have a ‘’can do’’ attitude and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them. David and the team have been very flexible in accommodating the needs of our project and participants. Working with ex-offenders can be a challenging area of work, however QTT have demonstrated a flexible approach to this which has assisted in us achieving our common goal of up-skilling ex-offenders across the North West region.
QTT have adapted delivery styles to respond to different learning needs and the positive learning experience which they have provided for our participants has been evidenced through the feedback we have received from them. The participants have found the course material to be interesting and tutors to know their subject and facilitate learning in a lively and engaging way.
Through taking part in QTT training courses, our participants have been able to build their CVs and confidence in their own abilities and to progress into employment in the relevant industry sector.”
